At Home in a Nursing Home: An Ethnography of Movement and Care inAustralia

Where is home for frail elderly people who live out the final phase of their lives? As this book will show, the location where older people receive care matters, but it does not determine whether they feel at home. It is possible for older people to feel at home in a nursing home if they can be assisted with right care. The purpose of this book is to help those who care for older people to practise right care by understanding what right care is and how to deliver it in the context of residential aged care.
