I am passionate about enabling people to live a good life as they age and motivated to make a positive difference for the community by developing a better understanding of the everyday experience of people who are ageing.
I am a sociocultural anthropologist, currently working as Research Associate at College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Flinders University, South Australia.
My book, At Home in a Nursing Home: An Ethnography of Movement and Care in Australia, is based on my project exploring everyday experience of walking and eating of older people living at aged care homes, published by Berghahn Books, New York and London.
